About Us

Chiropractor Orange Beach AL

Discover Pinnacle Spine and Sport, where chiropractic care is centered around helping patients move better, function better, and get back to the activities they enjoy. Orange Beach chiropractors focused on the relationship between joint motion, movement, muscle function, and the nervous system. While many people first seek chiropractic care because of back pain or neck pain, our approach goes beyond simply treating the area that hurts.

Pinnacle Spine and Sport

At Pinnacle Spine and Sport, we begin with a thorough history, examination, and functional assessment to determine what may be contributing to your symptoms. We look for restricted joint motion, muscular imbalances, mobility limitations, movement dysfunction, and other mechanical factors that may be placing unnecessary stress on the body. From there, we develop an individualized treatment plan based on your specific needs, goals, age, activity level, and condition.

How Can Chiropractic Care Help You?

Our goal is not to provide the same treatment to every patient. We first determine what is actually contributing to the problem, then choose the most appropriate conservative treatment strategy. Whether you are trying to get out of pain, return to the gym or golf course, recover from an injury, or simply maintain better movement as you age, Pinnacle Spine and Sport in Orange Beach, Alabama is focused on helping you move and function at your best.

Why Our Approach Is Different?

What makes our approach different is that we don’t simply focus on where you hurt, we look at why that area may be under stress in the first place. At Pinnacle Spine and Sport, every patient is evaluated through a biomechanical and functional lens, looking at joint motion, mobility, movement patterns, muscular imbalances, and the demands of their daily life or sport. As a former Division I and NFL athlete, Dr. Cody Elenz brings a unique understanding of performance, injury recovery, and what it takes to get the body moving well again.

Patients choose us because treatment is individualized, not cookie-cutter. Depending on what the examination shows, care may include chiropractic adjustments, non-surgical spinal decompression, focused shockwave therapy, corrective exercise, mobility work, and functional rehabilitation. Our goal is not just temporary symptom relief, it is to improve how the body moves and functions so patients can return to work, training, sports, golf, family activities, and everyday life with greater confidence.

Our mission

Our Mission
Our mission at Pinnacle Spine and Sport is to provide individualized, evidence-informed care that helps patients move better, recover from injury, reduce pain, and build long-term musculoskeletal health. We combine chiropractic care, biomechanics, advanced conservative therapies, and functional rehabilitation to identify the underlying cause of dysfunction and help each patient return to the activities, sports, and lifestyle they value most.

Conditions We Help

Conditions We Help

  1. Low Back Pain & Sciatica: We specialize in identifying the mechanical causes of low back pain, including joint restriction, disc-related irritation, muscular imbalance, and nerve involvement. Treatment is designed to reduce stress on the lower back, improve mobility, and restore function.
  2. Neck Pain & Headaches: Neck pain and certain headaches can be influenced by restricted cervical motion, muscular tension, posture, and joint dysfunction. We focus on improving cervical mobility and addressing the mechanical factors that may be contributing to pain and stiffness.
  3. Herniated & Bulging Discs: Disc-related conditions can cause localized pain, stiffness, and radiating symptoms into the arms or legs. When appropriate, we use a combination of chiropractic care, non-surgical spinal decompression, and corrective exercise to reduce mechanical stress and improve function.
  4. Shoulder Pain & Dysfunction: Shoulder pain is often influenced by more than the shoulder joint alone. We evaluate shoulder mobility, scapular mechanics, thoracic motion, muscular balance, and movement patterns to determine what is contributing to the problem.
  5. Hip Pain & Mobility Restrictions: Hip dysfunction can affect the lower back, pelvis, knees, and overall movement mechanics. We assess hip mobility, strength, joint motion, and movement patterns to help improve function and reduce compensatory stress.
  6. Foot, Ankle & Plantar Fascia Conditions: Foot and ankle problems can affect the entire kinetic chain. We treat conditions such as plantar fasciitis, ankle mobility restrictions, Achilles-related pain, and other mechanical Rev 04/24 foot and ankle issues using mobility work, shockwave therapy, chiropractic care, and corrective exercise when appropriate.
  7. Sports Injuries & Athletic Performance: As a former Division I and NFL athlete, Dr. Cody Elenz brings a performance-based approach to sports injury care. We evaluate biomechanics, mobility, strength, and movement quality to help athletes recover, reduce recurring problems, and return to activity more confidently.
  8. TMJ & Jaw Dysfunction: TMJ pain can be associated with joint restriction, muscle tension, cervical dysfunction, and altered mechanics of the jaw. We evaluate the jaw, neck, and surrounding musculature to determine whether conservative care may help improve motion and reduce discomfort.

Services We Offer

Services We Offer

  1. Chiropractic Adjustments: Specific, controlled adjustments are used to restore motion to joints that are not moving properly. Techniques are individualized to the patient and may range from gentle low-force methods to quick, precise adjustments.
  2. Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression: Spinal decompression is a conservative treatment option for certain disc-related and degenerative spinal conditions. It is designed to reduce mechanical stress on the spine and may be used for conditions such as herniated discs, bulging discs, sciatica, and chronic low back or neck pain.
  3. Focused Shockwave Therapy: Designed to support tissue healing and regeneration and help reduce pain associated with certain musculoskeletal conditions
  4. Corrective Exercise & Rehabilitation: We use targeted exercises to improve strength, mobility, stability, and movement quality. Programs are based on the patient’s specific functional deficits rather than using the same exercise routine for everyone.
  5. Functional Movement & Biomechanical Assessment: We evaluate how the body moves to identify mobility restrictions, muscular imbalances, asymmetries, and compensations that may be contributing to pain or injury. This allows treatment to address the underlying mechanical problem rather than only the painful area.
  6. Sports Injury Rehabilitation & Performance Care: We provide care for athletes dealing with acute injuries, overuse problems, mobility limitations, and performance-related movement dysfunction. Our approach combines hands-on care, biomechanics, rehabilitation, and return-to-sport progression.
  7. Extremity & Joint Care: Chiropractic care is not limited to the spine. We evaluate and treat mechanical problems involving the shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, ankles, feet, and TMJ when appropriate.
  8. Digital X-Ray & Diagnostic Evaluation: When clinically indicated, digital X-rays can help evaluate spinal alignment, degeneration, joint changes, and certain structural abnormalities. Imaging is only ordered when medically appropriate and is used alongside the history and physical examination to guide treatment decisions.

Why do I need chiropractic care when I’m not in pain?

Why do I need chiropractic care when I’m not in pain?

At Pinnacle Spine and Sport, we believe the best results start with understanding what is actually causing the problem. Our approach is built around patient education, biomechanics, and individualized care. We want you to understand what we found during your examination, why it matters, and what we recommend doing about it. Rather than simply treating the area that hurts, we evaluate joint motion, mobility, movement patterns, muscular imbalances, and how your entire body is functioning together. When X-rays are clinically indicated, we review them alongside your examination findings to help us develop a treatment plan specific to you.

Our goal is to help patients become active participants in their care. Depending on your condition, treatment may include chiropractic adjustments, non-surgical spinal decompression, focused shockwave therapy, corrective exercise, mobility work, and functional rehabilitation. While many people associate chiropractic with back pain, neck pain, and headaches, we also evaluate and treat musculoskeletal problems involving the shoulders, hips, knees, ankles, feet, ribs, and TMJ. As a biomechanical specialist and former Division I and NFL athlete, Dr. Cody Elenz brings a movement- and performance-focused perspective to helping patients recover from injuries and return to the activities they enjoy.

WHAT KIND OF TRAINING DOES A CHIROPRACTOR HAVE?

At Pinnacle Spine and Sport in Orange Beach, Alabama, we provide individualized chiropractic and conservative musculoskeletal care focused on pain relief, improved mobility, better movement, and long-term joint health. We specialize in evaluating and treating complex lower back and neck conditions, shoulder dysfunction, hip pain, foot and ankle conditions, sciatica, disc-related conditions, sports injuries, movement dysfunction, and athletic development. Treatment may include chiropractic adjustments, non-surgical spinal decompression, focused shockwave therapy, corrective exercise, mobility work, and functional rehabilitation.
